In 1994 Sandra began working with polymer clay as a creative medium. And, about one year later, she discovered a technique that bears her name, "The McCaw Cane" .

She is co-founder and past president of the Southern New Hampshire Polymer Clay Guild. Sandra has been a juried member of the prestigious League of New Hampshire Craftsmen (www.nhcrafts.org) since 1996 and served for four years as a juror of non-metal jewelry and polymer clay.
